Yeah you're in a good area. A "piece" tarp is just that a piece off a full tarp. Generally these are pieces that are salvaged from tarps beyond repair that drivers use when they only need another couple feet of tarp to cover a load. Saves them having to unroll another full tarp for just that couple feet. Mavericks policy is no piece tarps are to be used on loads however they just seem to keep poppinv up no matter how many they confiscate lol. Yes the Cascadias have "weed burner" exhaust that ends just under the sleeper. Bad engineering if you ask me due to carbon monoxide but Mavericks position is that the engine shouldnt be idling when you are in the sleeper since they have apu's. However the best laid plans of mice and men and all that....

I don't have a piece tarp but I just thought I would throw that in there for comic relief

OK, all of this talk about a piece tarp and then I find myself using one. Yes it's orange, because the glass division was bought from Schneider and this is a left over from back in the day. Works good though. LOL, that you guys would enjoy the pic.

it pisses me off to no end that after years of NO damaged/shifted/lost loads...no claims...no nothing, your still treated like a #######,

and Little Rock wonders why they can't keep their "veteran" drivers.

It's more about the guys that have trucks that I would not get into unless you had a hazmat suit. There are some people carrying tons of wood etc. there was a driver that was too heavy to pick up a load they had come by Little Rock to check it out. He had 1800 pounds yes that's right 1800 pounds of junk in the cab.

Have found some people carrying 12 chains and binders etc. etc. it never ceases to amaze me what the general public does.
