Well, I've had 4 trucks now. The 1st one would max out 59 on cruise. The next three would stick at 60, with empty and light loads it would squeak out 61 if I'm lucky. I just got a "brand new" glider and it runs 60 or 61 depending on the weight. So maybe I'll just ask if they'll turn it up and see what they say because 60 is just way to slow and IMO causes more chances for unsafe situations considering how fast everyone else is driving.
Quarterly bonus?

I agree, man....60 would drive me nuts. I can do 64 or 65...it's all I've ever had during my driving career. Good luck!

Your story matches mine almost exactly. I had an '03, an '06, '07 and now a '12 glider. It will do 61 on radar signs, the dash and my GPS on cruise. It will do 64 on the pedal. It's my fastest and nicest SNI truck. It is still TOO ###### and UNSAFELY SLOW. Even 65 on cruise is better. I don't want to drive on 95th street any more in a 61-mph truck. I DO NOT THINK IT IS SAFE to go less than 65 on I-95, I-85, I-40, I-84 in CT, and feel free to chime in with 10 more. They will not listen to you... don't like it? Quit. I am looking for a new job. This is one of reasons I can't deal with SNI any longer.
"We're Schneider... we're big, and cheap".
Next reason: any time you implement a new-fangled piece of software, and the ordinary thing for its users to do is work around its intended behavior each and every day... you have FAILED. Yes, I'm talking about workflow. I've stayed on source so far... but the class and some conversations iced my decision. What a joke. I'm sorry, I know about this. I do. I don't have to guess that they didn't do the proper amount of QA, UA etc etc. and use cases, just as a starting point.
How about 40 drivers per DBL? How about no hazmat or Canada premiums? How about no air rides (aside from the rare Emerson)? How about the whole per diem lie? Etc., etc. etc. Yes I'm sure I'll find much of it elsewhere, but if I start with a better base package, better insurance, air ride trailers, no WORKFLOW, I will tolerate another slow truck much better. I hope to get it all (gasp, can it be possible??)

And lastly, let me mention the RESPECT we all get out there in our slow orange turds. NONE! I could be the pope and still just be "SNI-der". It's time to take the training wheels off and do some better truckin...
Feel free to say whatever, I don't really even want to debate this... I'm just putting in my 2 cents FWIW
