Thats good news to hear,Ive got a friend that keeps saying"the o/o is a dying breed".Well the way these companies are treating the drivers,cheating them outa pay,an being steped on.I think being an o/o is the way to go.I was a OTR company driver for 15 years an never got ahead.

I liked beth. After I quit sometime later I got a letter from beth asking me what it would take to bring me back. Usually recruiting does stuff like that. I thought it was pretty classy of her.

Dont know how you got a texas load....we don't even run Texas anymore since Covenant has made us a "regional carrier"

I have to agree with you on one point however.....the miles do suck most of the time!
Star does try to do it's best but Covenant has really screwed up a good company...
I'll probably fired when they read this one......
Anybody knows any good companies that run WEST fron Indiana ?????

Try CTI out of Columbus Indiana. They run west a lot.

 

I could care less if they read this forum. If a driver is content, he or she would have nothing negative to say. Without the drivers companies like star would cease to exist. News flash, without drivers ! Companies seem to forget they're greatest assests. If the wheels ain't turning then they're not earning. I think star prefers a high turnover rather then driver retention or the management is flawed and inexperienced. Either way, I've had enough. I would suggest another company to work for.

 

Please, if you value your career, do not abandon any equipment. Star truly is a company of yesterday. If you like making 3,4,500. per week, then be my guest. You cannot support your family working for this company. The owner couldn't give a horse's you know what if you don't like it there because their is a sucker born everyday !!!
