Schools range from $500 to $10,000. I wouldnt pay that unless thats your ONLY school up there. How long is the school? (hours)

Where did you go to?
I was in touch with Watkins and Shepard and was surprised to hear they stopped their in house school... Do you know why? -
they lost a ton of money in a very short period of time so they just shut it down, im not sure what happened. That was a few months before i started there.
I went to Trans Tech when i was 18 to get my CDL, and Charlotte Truck Driver Training School when i was 20 to make the insurance companies happy so i could go OTR when i turned 21

My local community college costs about $1100 for their 380 hour class if you're a resident of the state. For out of state residents, the cost is about $4000.

check crowder in Mo. You may be able to go through Conway TL. I just finished a week at Crowder- seems like a good school- not too expensive and they have housing. good luck

Community college at Starke, Florida is $2700 for 320 hours over eight weeks training. A healthy slice of that is backing various types of truck. That's in-state, if memory serves about 50% more for out of state (12 months to qualify).
