I KNOW he aint gettin those miles. Maybe one week when he sneaks a long weekend run in that started on a thursday from the previous week. Anyone on e-logs that tells you he is consistently driving solo over 2500mi every week I will call them out to their face. Ive had drivers talkin that smack at the yards and I tell them all the same thing, put up the proof or shut up! TCD runs 2500 or less a week from all the tcd drivers I talk to. Drivers from ither companies come in with the mindset of what those companies tell them which is you cant run miles if you go home every weekend. To which I say BS! I run as many miles as most long haul guys except Im home weekends. Lazy companies perpetuate that lie so they dont have to try getting you home for your break. When I used to run long haul for the other companies I drove for I invariably ended up sitting half of most weekends. Thats crap in the computer age today. As a company driver if you get stuck out Maverick gaurantees a minimum of 800mi. If the load you're on pays 300 and dont get you home then Maverick makes up the difference to make ut worth your while to be away from home that weekend.

Just be on your best behavior, go in with a great attitude, do all of the homework to the best of your abilities. Remember that they are always watching and listening to you while you are in orientation. YOU ARE BEING EVALUATED AT ALL TIMES. How you behave in a group during break outside smoking, ect., ect....
Believe me, if you are constantly acting up and being a ______, (which I am not saying that YOU would be BTW), you will not be one of the few who become a Maverick. See the other thread by Jim called "Heading To Little Rock" and also Sarges's thread "any questions for a Maverick Trainer?". You will find TONS of good info on those threads regarding what you are about to go through. Good luck, Congrats on the opportunity to go thru Orientation.

3600 miles? Sure; no problem. Get 3 or 4 hours of sleep out of 24. No showers. Run in for a footlong to go. 75 mph 425 hp truck. D&H only. Smoke the log book, Piece of cake.
Seriously people; even if that happens even occasionally. It's BRUTAL! It simply ain't no way to live.

Been there, done that (4,200 miles per week)...Crusty is right...I once ran that way for 10 solid months (not with Maverick). Very little sleep, a couple of speeding tickets, lots of $$$...and too #### tired too enjoy it.
