Good luck to you Andre. I had my first interview today and they set me up for my next interview with the TM next week. I guessing its filling out the paperwork for a background check etc.

Not everywhere does.... I've seen plenty companies that don't require it, although you may have to go OTR for a while, and basically starve for the first year.

Haven't seen Saia pop up in the help wanted locally. I may have to do an on line app to beat the tide.

LTL carriers like to see people actually walk in the door and fill out an app to show they have interest in the job. Don't be lazy, go into town and introduce yourself to the TM. You'll stand a better chance then the guy that does the online app no one will read.

Actually, there are trucking companies they hire inexperienced drivers. They're not very good companies to work for, but it will get your foot in the door. Try CRST or CR England. There might be others, just do a Goole search.

Dear Lord, DO NOT try CRST or CR England! There are too many other MUCH BETTER companies to get a leg up with, than those two.
