Spudware: biodegradable utensils & toothpicks Made from Potato or Corn Starch
The biodegradable spudware utensils are excellent for hot items like soup. They have the look and feel of plastic and outperform plastic in boiling and microwave testing and are biodegradable.
Cool! Can actually eat them.....!!![]()

well ... you an eat them ...prefer sour cream, butter, and bacon bits on mine.
-
just like 'snails,'...put garlic butter & sour cream on ANYTHING...and it's palatable!!
-
Ya..Tomorrow they will come out with a NEW ALERT that eating them will kill a person!
-
.....let me spell it out for you, Blondie, you do have to 'chew' them or otherwise you will choke on them!! There, is that better?!!

-
NOPE not better...I know how these things go! one day things are good for us and the next don't touch them...sigh
-
...you're saying that 'someday' we will be able to commit suicide by eating biodegradable utensils?!
-
I saw these at a food show that we went to last year. They looked really nice. They were real high quality disposal ware. I would love to see more restaurants go to these.
-
sounds pretty cool, would love to see the stuff. Is this going to be available in stores or a special order item that costs a fortune?
Thanks -
