do I need a special fridge

depends on the watts on the fridge

 

If u get a big inverter u can. Mine was 1800 watt and it would run my fridge no problem.(dorm style mini fridge from Wally world) I would only have problems occasionally when I would run microwave n fridge at same time.

 

I just got on the of dorm fridges, and it's a 120v, running on a 750w husky inverter. I got it on Craigslist for 40 bucks. Bought the inverter for 30 a few months back. Anytime you need electronics, or stuff like that, check out Craigslist. Especially with how much we travel, just check out whatever city you're in for whatever it is you're in the market to buy. It's the first place I check before buying new.

I've recently stopped eating in the truck stops, and have only spend 6 dollars in the past 4 days in the truck stops. I got tired of feeling like #### from the TS food, and feeling like a chump for giving them my money for overpriced junk. It's nothing to spend 150 a week if eating out of truck stops all week. If you're in the NE as much as I am, you can easily spend 200.oo a week.
