Can not figure out what is wrong with the one pic that clearly shows the sign 13"6. Was the sign wrong and he/she got stuck. I think that there is more to the pic that what is showing.

I should have put notes with all of these. the one that was 13'6 would have been fine if he hadn't been pulling a 14' trailer....
-
And never forget, your empty trailer might be a bit above 13'6".
And never forget, that road may have been repaved, making the true clearance 13'4".
And never forget, that 13'6" might be for the center and highest part, but not the sides. -
Like some of the bridges in PA on the pike. The signs sometimes mean the clearance if on the shoulder, and some of the signs say low, and they mean when there is lots of snow on the road, like in NY State. There is a state route that I have taken many times now, only because I know that it is okay, but the first time, scared the crap outta me. Stopped quick and went inside and asked, and that was when I was told, alot of snow, and the sign was correct. No snow, clearance was 13"8. Also the Atlas does not show any low clearances that whole route

These are nothing, at Stevens Transport they have a wall of photos from wrecks. Now these photos are up front and show everything, I mean everything like inside of the truck with dead drivers inside, body parts of drivers under trailers etc. You want a message then that will deliver.

I saw it. It is unnerving, to say the least.
-
Sad thing seeing all them preventable accidents.
-
All of the pictures show fair or perfect weather witch means to me it was either driver error or pure stupidity by the driver or 4wheelers involved. No load is worth yours or someones life. Keep your distance,Be ready for merging morons and prepare for the worst case scenario. Stay safe.Stay alive.

And when a Swift truck pulls out of a truck stop...you have 3 parking spots.
That was my favorite Swift joke from my days as a Swifty. -
What do you get when two swift trucks leave a truckstop??
Four parking spaces!
