Hi y'all. I'm RockinChair, and I just joined this site.
I started driving 11 and a half years ago. Most of my experience is pulling pneumatic tankers around Texas, and gathering crude oil in South Texas. I've got about 750,000 mile markers in my back pocket so far.
My terminal manager asked me to come inside and dispatch last summer. I love a challenge, so although I swore I'd never drive a desk, I thanked him for the opportunity, and I've been in the hot seat for 7 months. I still go out and drive on my days off, gathering crude oil in the Eagle Ford Shale.
I don't bite, and I'm pretty easy-going, so don't be afraid to say hi or ask any questions you might have.
Hi y'all

Welcome hope you enjoy it here.

LSA: Thank you for the welcome! Being an experienced driver is definitely a benefit to dispatching, as I have firsthand experience with most of our load and delivery points, and the people who work at those locations. Dispatching can be quite a challenge, which is why I like it - but I've got diesel in my blood, and I can't wait for my next day off so I can go drive again.
Quietroads: Thank you for the welcome. Your signature line is darn good advice for any driver, whether a rookie or old hand.
