I'll guarantee you now the miles won't drop - ask the same question of Sazook and he'll tell you his miles didn't drop. There's no reason in the world for that to happen. First, Prime isn't trying to sell beat-up trucks to unsuspecting rubes - its a straight lease. If there is anything wrong with the truck Prime and Freightliner/Peterbuilt/Kenworth/International put their reputations and money on the line to get them road-worthy - when they are retired the trucks are sold in the open market. Second, the FMs, load planners, etc - all are paid a base salary with a commision based on our success. They starve themselves if they don't keep us moving, and pay a penalty if we walk away from the lease.

I've finished 5 full leases and I don't ever remember the miles dropping off. Who cares about running a bunch of miles anyway.

I am hoping to get in with PRIME, waiting for my recruiter to call me back, don't know if she was off on Pres. Day , but until then... I am confident I can & will pass to earn my CDl as I did my Permit, so, my question to this panel...;)
What is the best option available on their lot for a truck?
    Peter...Freight Shaker, or...?

Ah, yes. Another allegation made without evidence. So where would the definition "most reputable drivers" come from? Good grief. If you're going to come to a forum and post a statistic - such as "most" and "reputable" - at least give us the benefit of the source of the information. Without evidence, there can be no credibility.

I'm still trying to find any post that this guy has posted with any useful information. All I can find is empty quotes and email address to help him whine about Prime. Either he is a very bored troll or he was a truck stop dwelling trucker that failed at trucking.

Just a hunch, and judging from all of your comments, but I'm guessing you haven't made the biggest mistake of your life yet. But keep on trying pal, I'm confident you will get there.

Its possible to make a statement, or a complaint, or get a point across, without putting yourself in a bad spot. Obviously you haven't given that much thought. Maybe you should.

My question is, do you have $50,000 sitting around to throw at your legal team to get your defense started against a defamation suit? I mean isn't that what we are dealing with here?

In regards to Prime, we are talking about contempt, hatred, ridicule, and statements that cause them to be shunned or avoided. We are talking about an injury to their reputation, by attempting to diminish the respect, goodwill and confidence others may have towards them. Sounds like a text book definition of defamation to me with a side dish of malice.

Wow, this is good stuff. Written for everyone to see. A prosecutors dream. The good news is, regardless of the financial implications, which could be substantial, its still only a misdemeanor. The bad news is, you will have the burden of proof, not the plaintiff.

Just for the heck of it, make a call to an attorney. Get one of those free consultations. Ask them if anything you have posted here can and will be used against you in a court of law. Then give them some of the particulars and ask them if they have any chance of proving some of the facts you have asserted. Oh, you'll still have to pay the $50,000 in legal fees, and then some regardless of the outcome, but if they can prove everything, you may keep the misdemeanor off your record. Then ask them if they would advise you to continue with your present course of action.

Hey man, just trying to offer some common sense here. No wild accusations or claims, just the facts. Govern yourself accordingly.

    McBjork Thanks this.
