do expect you to run when weather is bad. i know loads need to be delivered but if it's safer to shutdown do they old it against you

 

What they say is that you are the captain of the ship. If you determine it is unsafe then you shut down and notify them so they can make the customer aware.

About a week after I started I had a load going from Chicago area to Minneapolis area that loaded at 1800 and had to deliver by 0400. It started snowing pretty good but I was still running it. They actually called me and suggested I stop because another truck in the same area shut down because of the weather. I said no I don't think it is bad enough I will keep going and I did. It is up to you.

i guess it would depend on when you start your 14. right now i run most of the time from 7 am 9 pm because what and where i run i hardly ever run out of my 11
