So I get a voice mail this morning from my FM saying they have a plan on how to get me out on time tomorrow since I had to eat it in the miles dept. last time out and they somehow talked the other driver into going to Gary to get the PM done. So I call back and I am told I will be coming out in one of the new prostars sitting at the dropyard. Personally I would rather just wait for my truck to get back rather than get into a truck I know nothing about. I am sure some of you think I am crazy for thinking this but I would much rather drive the older trucks. Besides the truck I am waiting on is the one I signed for so yeah I want to be in it. No pre plan yet.

I love running the west. I've logged more miles out there & miss it. I was just thinking this morning when I was waking up in another truck stop, "Out west I only used a TS for fuel & showers because I knew all the places to park that were quiet & without running trucks or reefers!" Running the east & the midwest most nights now are in the TS :(

The Bronx is the best. You can keep Brooklyn. Best food on the planet is in Da Bronx!

iron mountain...tonight...gotta go to new hampshire and be there by the 24th....update on my old truck...it had a catastrophic failure...they couldn't do anything last night except fix my seat and replace a bunch of other crap...but the engine tech this morning showed me my turbo (which the fins grenaded and sent metal into the cylinders) and told me to call my FM cause it wasn't going anywhere for awhile...so I got me a brand new cascadia...picked it up with 81 miles on it and that brand new truck smell...got all my crap moved over....it has boat loads of storage... fyi my new truck number is 7499...so if ya see me around say hi at least...

Sitting in a dock in Clearfield, UT waiting to be loaded. My delivery this morning about 70 miles away was at 0700. Been sitting on layover for a day and a half. Load planners schedule my pick up for 1700 thus wasting my day. They had five days to arrange a load out of here for me. Instead they wasted my time. Not happy about this at all! On top of that, I get to sleep at the shipper tonight. Had I known that I would have showered this morning...ugh!
