Exactly... so x2 -
really not in all trucks JB switch is well located. I'd say Mercedes Actros and Volvo brake sticks are good and JB is used every time driver needs it.
International and Freightliner dash switch location is not the optimal one and I'd use servive brake)))) -
New Cascadias have it on the steering wheel - perfect location.airforcetoo Thanks this. -
Yep, Cascadia shares steering wheel with actros MP2. Really to many mercedes things in cascadia (including OM471)))))
-
Many drivers only use them on hills because they don't understand the purpose of them and don't have to pay for brake shoes and drums.Wiseguywireless Thanks this.
-
really I use JB driving down hills only))
and I did some welding work with muffler and JB does not sound like a russian machine gun now))))
I wanna pay your attention that if you use JB and something goes wrong and you have to use panic braking I'd recomend you depress clutch pedal, becouse EBS and ESP work better in emergency when no engine interferece. -
It doesn't matter to me where the switch is. It's like the switch for the headlights, for as often as it needs to be turned on (or in the case of the JB turned off), it's not much of a bother wherever it is.

IMO, Cetury Class swich location is bad!!!!
Volvo and Mercedes switches are located much better. -
