I believe this one will be short lived at first. The idea is all trucks operating in Ontario have speed limiters that means U.S. trucks as well as from other provinces. I would hope the constitution would not allow one jurisdiction to force it's mandate onto other jursdictions especially upon a foreign power. This would result in these trucks going back to their home jurisdiction unable to maintain local speed limits and would pose a greater risk at home than the benefits possibly obtained in Ontario.

The speed limit in most provinces is 62.5 mph or 100 km/h. Our truck is governed at 68 mph. The speed limit on a lot of roads in NS and NB is 110 km/hr so at least we can go the speed limit. Governing them at 62 mph sucks
You won't be able to drive the speed limit in a lot of NS/NB.
