After actively participating in a thread about cross borber trucking I have come to believe that it is a good thing since this is the attitude of most truckers on this site.

I was against it at first but so many other drivers made me see the light Americans are lazy and we need the Mexicans coming here delivering loads to keep with the shipping demands this nation has, God knows the lazy Americans are not going to make the deliveries. Buildings wouldn't get built and farms wouldn't get worked if it wasn't for the hard working Mexican who agree to come here and do it at a cheaper cost then what Americans want. If Lazy Americans would be willing to live as multiple family units you could afford to live cheaper just like Mexicans do. I'm considering moving my entire family to Mexico to live, just think if I drive here in the states 4 weeks out then go home to my family in Mexico how much money I will have.

Admit it Americans we've got to use to having it easy with a steady paycheck and having food on the table to long it has made us soft, lets get back to working hard for a smaller wage and it will stregthen us and make us a stronger people. We need to completely open the border for all Mexican immigrants and it will force lazy Americans to work harder to keep their high paying cushy jobs they have.

I dont turn down freight, I've run the U.S/Mex border for years, but I'm not going to drive for .13 cents/mile like the Mexicans!! Me thinks that you need to get off your rickety old soapbox and move down there like you said and drive for that peso/mile you so much like!! Hasta La Vista, Baby! :biggrin_25522:

The only good point I saw was that he was gonna move out of this great nation. Are Americans lazy? That's a matter of opinion. There are certainly a lot of people who are, but here in the midwest they're few and far between. I drive an average of 2800 miles from Sunday night thru Thursday and sometimes run local on Friday. Don't group me into your category.

Go 'head and move to Mexico you unpatriotic left leaning loon. Need a English/Spanish dictionary?

See you prove my point exactly a Mexican Trucker would run 4000 miles a week and smile the entire time for 13 cents per mile!

lol unless they worked for a company like CRST where you can make 13 cents a mile but the miles are split between co drivers lol so if you have 2 codrivers your making 13cents for 2000 miles and if you have 4 your only making 13cpm for 1000 miles...

I think that you may be under the definition of the word "hypocrit."

Hypocrisy is the act of condemning another person, when the critic is guilty of the same thing that is being condemned. Though hypocrisy is frequently invoked as an accusation in debates
