I've seen a lot of ACME one tons carrying a load without a trailer . I bet the rate was good enough they didn't worry about a return load . Running back empty to get another good paying load might be more profitable than sitting around waiting for a lower paying load .

Get you a 1 ton with a flatbed on it. You need a 40 ft. gooseneck and a CDL to make REAL money here in Houston. I have a dedicated customer that I go to every day,home every nite unless I run stuff to the oil rigs ,Port Fourchon in LA. or down to the valley.I be driving for 30 plus years ,this is the most money I've ever made including semi.

Good post. Wow you are absolutely right!!! I could not believe some of the **** they actually put on TV. They really make all of us look bad....probably ruin Uship business if they don't pull the show!! -
