Well we are on 70 - not even to Denver (102 miles east of Henderson) - and the gusts, blowing snow and light load had me stop... Only been out for a year, and this is past my comfort zone... Gary gets his time back in 2 hours - he's had more experience than I do, so it will be up to him when its his turn to captain this ship... looking at weather reports, it doesn't look like it will be clearing any time soon

That's the plan - was suppose to be there today - BUT - we are parked along side I-70... high winds, icy road and light load - not a good combination!! Not sure when we will get there, but we are headed there

 

Got a load going from liberal KS to Tacoma WA hope it clears up by the time I get there

Ya it only took 14 hrs to get thru Wyoming today. Wind,snow and stupid drivers that must think they r super truckers. Made for a very inte_resting day. They still have bout 8_10 trucks to still upright on the sides of the road.

 

I-80 in wy is a stupid driver catcher for sure. That hwy always looks like a big rig junk yard in winter.

 

The winter of 09the was pretty bad we counted about 37the big trucks and about 90 cars off the road between the median and the shoulder from about mm40 to the 284truck in iowa that's the worst one in all my years of trucking that I have seen or driven through. Fortunately it happen the day before and we made the trek through iowa at 25mph.
