Because everything you have been running around on this forum talkin about is either a flat out lie, or you dont know what your talkin about. which is it? and its not just texas. you should be ashamed of yourself for making light of everybody's bad situations with a garbage kinda company just because you want to get that recruit bonus your trying to make it all seem peaches and cream. Stop selling your fellow drivers out for a buck, Its bad enough America does it without our own drivers doing it.

No i mean the tin buildings are made like houston. but houston looks like a basement and you can barely get a truck inside. the yard is big though, just full of holes and it tears up the equipment. fort worth has about 5 bays and a safety lane. but once you get into the yard, you cant even turn a truck around its so crammed full with junk trailers and trucks but its paved...

Sounds to me like you had a very bad experience with LinkAmerica and now don't want to hear anything good about them or want to believe that someone else doesn't mind them that much. Just because one driver hates a company or feels like he has been misused does not mean every driver for that company is like that. If your going to file a lawsuit against this company it might not be a bad idea to refrain from posting on message boards as this will help the company to build a "disgruntled employee" case back at you.

agreed 100% and I try to make that point quite a bit.

I understand it hasn't worked out for people. However, I like it. Sure I could easily get more money somewhere else. I like the area I run, my DM, and everyone in my home terminal knows me by name. They know they can count on me to get the job done. In return I know they will keep me moving.

Lol im not trying to recruit anyone. Im not on here giving out my name or truck # so how am I recruiting? So your proving me right. Because their is a disgruntled employee, no one is allowed to enjoy were they work.

In 2009 the posts were all terrible. Nothing good to say about this company. My husband was looking at going with them but they only offer .335 per mile and he has almost 5 years experience with 7 months of it being recent. Insurance is way too pricey and you have to be out 7 - 10 days and home 2.

Now, he's currently at WEL. Out 5 days, home 2, home when needed or on specific days if needed, insurance is rough but ok, and lately miles have gone down (from 2300 to 1000/week) and the people can be rude some days BUT all of that is still seeming a lot better than Link America.

Lol. Enjoy WEL. I'll keep my .395/mile, 2300 miles per week, home 2 days per week over that 1000 miles at .38 any day, here at Link. Oh, please keep us updated on how that is working out for "your husband."

Not to be mean, but last time I checked, this is 2012. Just saying.

I wouldn't get outta bed for 1000 miles a week. If you think that this is still better than Link America (for whom I have never worked, in the interest of full disclosure), well then, good for you.

I've done OTR for right at a dozen years, and have never had a week of just a thousand miles, not including the weeks with home time. And even those weeks were between 1400 and 2000.

1000 miles a week...omg...that is a joke! You must be a working wife because how do you live off of 350 a week. I feel bad for him. I feel even worse for you, its bad enough you dont get to see your husband very often but then he only sends you what he has left from the 350..He is worth way more then that. he needs to find another job ASAP.
