Sure... a nice whining and complaining session will temporarily vent some frustration, but the best solution is to do what I can to handle the situation.
This has been a very interesting experience so far. I'm looking forward to seeing how it concludes.

Sorry, I was speaking from a terminal's point of view.
Sorry, never stopped or passed through that state. My terminal keeps me east of the Mississippi for the most part. -
Checked in at Cummins. Hope to hear something today.

Denver is more of a drop yard right now (portapotty's) although it is a secure yard and has an office staff during business hours. They are building a new full service terminal, however. Haven't been through there for months, it may be open by now?
Atlanta use to be a dump, too, but they built a beautiful facility within the last year.
@smaggs>>Keep your chin up! -
I haven't been to the Denver/Aurora terminal since last fall. Hope they pave that place and put a place to drop a deuce in there! Portapotty makes me nervous!
-
Lol! I was curious since that's the closest terminal to me and I was considering applying.. That may be a moot point at this point tho.. got a couple other companies around Cheyenne that are hiring that would be able to get me home at least weekly, possibly even every other nightly..

Finishing up my Squire training.... We'll see how it goes for me... I've got concerns. : /

The only problem with Las Vegas is the occasional lack of loads going in and out of that area. You will frequent Phoenix, AZ and probably California. Do what I'm doing... deal with it for a year. Then you will have doors open up for you.

Well Cummins "finished" my truck. They just reset the computer and called it good. They can't see the leak.
I told them to run a regen and watch the top of the engine and the exhaust pipes. They said no smoke came out.... I don't see how this is possible. I think Knight called them and told them to reset the computers and just tell me to keep rolling.
Also... they finished the truck and nobody bothered to call me. I gave the shop guy my phone number and he promised to call me right away, but didn't. He allegedly called Knight, but they never bothered to call me either.
This is typical Knight BS. Anytime I have an issue, they find a way to shrug it off.
I guarantee I'm going to get the truck and it's going to start smoking again. And stinking, and burning.
This time, I'm going to try to capture it with my phone and we'll see what they say then.
I also told my dispatcher I need breakdown pay and a different truck. They should get this one and examine it further... That, or maybe they don't give a crap about the thing, the load or the driver... -
If you start it up and it fills the cabin with smoke again and is smoking from under the hood..... I'm sure I don't even have to tell you what to do. You already know not to put your own life or your license in danger.
