I just recently accuired my CDL, and like many am starting my search as to who to drive for? I know there are limitations as to which companies hire newbies, but can you tell me which companies have APU's or allow Inverters? It is somewhat complexing that in today's day and age of technology, considering Drivers for the most part live out of their truck, that companies would not make the truck as comfortable as possible for the driver. I appreciate any feedback.

There are more than several who hire new CDL drivers and run APU's but I won't list them here because the ones that come to my mind are not well regarded by many here and I want to maintain a degree of plausible deniability of having steered you to a "problem carrier". Others will offer up suggestions and you will find them. Go to a truck stop and pick up several of the driver magazines and booklets at the main entrance. They specify who hires students and will mention if their fleet runs APUs

Thanks STexan, I'll do that, respect your position on the topic as well.

Trans Am will hire you. They have all automatic trucks and all their trucks have APU's and inverters.
