Well....since you said that I .....uh....no....I'm not gonna fall for that again.....my wife did that to me once.
I have since learned to be careful what I say to her, so it doesn't come back to me years later.

Hijack over........so who are we missing.

I haven't seen Georgia Peach in a very long time. Sent her a message a while back and she was doing ok, but hasn't come back here. Looney tune seems to have gone the way of the dodo as well.

 

Sometimes things just come up in your personal life that make it "inconvenient" to try to keep up with the forums. Sometimes a person just flatly does not feel like doing it.

Sometimes these situations pass and people return as strong as ever. And sometimes they don't.

Thanks guys. We ARE hanging in there very well. She has reached some milestones - the drain is out of her armpit, the steristrips came off this morning and she was able to shower by herself. She is feeling pretty good right now, and in fact is more worried about her bouts of arthritis than she is about cancer.

We are still early enough in this cancer thing to be very worried about what is ahead, but also thankful for what we do know so far. They have said that their recommendations to either have radiation, or not, and to have chemo, or not have to wait for a bit yet.

For her part, all she wants to do is get back on her arthritis pain medication which she can't do if she is going to have either.
