    Hey Everyone. Here's an update. I made it to my final destination: West Virginia. I had a friend from high school buy me a plane ticket from my 01 on Thursday (Dodge City, KS) and fly me to Nashville so I could get my car.

    My grandmother has been through a lot. She has come close to death a few times, but is still hanging on - and making remarkable signs of improvement. She's not as burnt as we thought and she's able to breathe 40% on her own with the assistance of a ventilator (unlike yesterday when I arrived, she was receiving 100% assistance with the ventilator). The doctors are working on weening her off of it.

    We're not out of the woods. Things could go south - so please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers still. I'm going to be here until we're either in the clear, or the otherwise.

    I'll keep you all updated as I can. Thank you all for your support.

    Still in West Virginia. They moved my grandmother out of the Burn Unit into a standard ICU room. She's still on her ventilator, but she is responding more and more every day and she's getting much better.

    Once she is out of the woods in regards to the ventilator, I'll make arrangements to get back on the road with my trainer.
