Those who have bad experiances with trucking companys are the ones who usually don,t just do there jobs and fight with there dispatchers. I know there are some real bad dispatchers out their. 7 yrs trucking i have always made 60,000 plus each year. master your job and communicate with your driver manager. You will go far in this feild. And if you decide u lost interest in it. bank some money and invest in your future. Life is too short to hate all things.. be at peace and god will reward you with happiness.

I bet the first yr or 2 you did'nt make 60k.Also I beg to differ, many many drivers do their jobs and do it well.Never complain about loads, never late for pick up or delivery. Most what happens with trucking ccompanies are'nt the dispatchers fault, but the load planners. All dispatchers do is give loads to the drivers and are the ones that have to listen to the drivers argue with them.In other words dispatchers are the guinnea pigs. The first couple yrs out here,no way are you going to make 60k unless you're a successful O/O.Starter companies will make sure drivers do not get the miles they deserve. They only hire so many students that they really don't need for the subsidy money.I can't blame drivers for not making money,I blame the companies.Huge turnover rate in trucking, why do you spose that is?Surely all the ones that quit can't be that bad of drivers as to why low pay.

Everything else before this aside, I gotta ask...do you keep your ego OUTSIDE the truck or does it fit in there with you at night(not to be confused with KNIGHT)?? Wow...I understand that you're stoked, really...and yeah, it's frustrating to have guys bashing the company you work for. Take what they say with a grain of salt, there MAY be some truth to their words. And if you STILL love Knight in a year, KUDOS to you for finding a company you want to stay with.
And...er...um...Rah-rah-rah? :biggrin_25524: I believe you did mention that once or three times.
