Carleton Trucking Company in Omaha,NE is not what they say they are. If you want to work for a penance this is the place to be. They lie about how much you get per mile. Stringent rules regarding routing and where to fuel and if you run out of fuel guess who's dollar that bill is on. If you don't there goes part of your pay check. They can't explain anything regarding your pay. You sign their contract and it states .40 per mile......yeah right, try .2650 mile and their stupid per diem of .0850. If money is no object then this is where you need to be. And don't take the health insurance they can't explain anything about that either. Other than it is extremely expensive. They have a very high turn over of drivers also. This face represents how I felt on payday and the surprise I got when I opened the envelope. If I could have one falling down that would be perfect.

Zeitner and Sons. Read th contract!!!!! o/o YOU pay for pallets, shags and yes reefer fuel for the trailer. You will be expected to run your ### off on broker loads for .72 a mile. Forget a bout home time while their at the bar and stock car races you'll be waitng for a load on friday night, hoping to get loaded by 2 or 3 am cause you have to be in Ohio by midnight sat. that's your weekend. be prepared to be DOT'd 7 times in 3 months. and hop you don't have to worry about your credit cause you won't make as much as some company driver after expencies. oh yeah love that hFORCED DISPATCHE

Actually, Hunt is worse than CCC. The fleet manager (for company drivers) got his position by marring the executive secretary. He has no manager skills and is a real pain. A most disrespectful manger to work for. If you are a company driver, avoid Hunt.

Sounds like Hunt has gone down a bit since I drove back in the day (last did so in 2002). I DID see their ad in the slick dream-book magazines I got from the truckstops all the time. Maybe they weren't as good as I thought.
"The only grocery warehouses we go to are under construction." I saw that quote too many times for the company to be really good. -
That's some slick advertising alright. Well, you know what they say about whether or not it's too good to be true.
