Lol. Good job this week. Next month will be better for you.
Do you normally have much down time. Does Stevens go to Birmingham Al a lot. -
You may have time to watch a portion of the race on your iPhone, but I greatly advise that the phone be off during class time. The instructors deserve and demand your attention. People have been sent home for being on their phones too much during instruction time, including the time on the 'track'.
-
Yea. I mean If I can watch it and it's cool then hell yea. But I'm not going to watch it if I can't. I'd ask before just doing it.

Almost in Dallas. Then I'm waiting 1hr 30 minutes in Dallas for a 20 minute ride to mesquite.
-
Just got the QC from Safety about the 'accident' today. Praying that all of you are safe and sound. And a speedy recovery for the driver involved.
Corporal_Clegg Thanks this. -
Actually that is a bad week for me. Normally no down time, but febuary has been slow. A normal week is 2800, a good week is 3000, and the awesome week is 3300+
I pass through birmingham but have never delivered or picked up there. But I really don't get many loads to the southeast. They keep me north most of the time. -
I'm going from owning A harley shop to OTR, Cant wait to get out there, learn the ropes, and turn my own miles. Gotta say i'm looking forward to the benefits for my family as well, we have'nt had health insurance since I completed my enlistment with the CG.

Stevens use to have the little minor parking accidents with the occasional big one. The accident board would have 60 90 days since last accident. Now it is a daily occurance.
What has changed? Not the weather, winter comes and goes. Has training changed? Does not appear so. Is it all the changes in operations? Dispatch system, the known bribes? The quality of the drivers?
I know upstairs is scratching their collective heads to figure it out.
Or is it the fact that more of the fleet is between 4 and 7 years of service when complacency kicks in and more major accidents happen according to insurance stats. The roll over by the drivers lounge is the perfect example. -
Its just the tide rolling in, it will roll out just the same. When you have that many trucks, the screw ups stick out.
