Stryker7 hate hearing the mechanical issues you have had with your truck. But I im very impressed with your positive attitude towards the company as a whole.
    The international warranty is awful.
Alan, you getting adjusted to those new elogs? I plan to swing through in the next week or so to get mine turned on. Terry

yea, as long as you plan your whole trip before rolling everything will work just fine, the only issue I see is when there isn't a parking space near receiver within two miles.

When someone turns in a truck do they go through the unit and repair any problems or do they leave it for the new leesee to fix

Depends on whether or not they feel like fixing it... More than likely it will still be broke for next guy. Except buying tires if at all possible do not let JCT Shop touch your truck ever. Take it somewhere anywhere to get fixed.

But if u have a couple thousand in repairs, you would not take it elsewhere and pay out of your pocket would you?

The money comes out of your Maintenance fund either way. If your maintenance fund is in the red then they want you to fix it at JCT Shop. But if your out on the road at not near the terminal they have to pay to have it fixed to keep the wheels rolling. Your maintenance fund will just get charged the costs whether it's plus or negative only exception to that is if it's $150.00 or less it comes directly out of your next pay settlement.

I always just hoped something broke out on the road or it was something only a dealership could fix. I am no longer there once they mandated E-Logs it was time to exit. Not that I think E-Logs are totally horrid I just didn't think JCT could mangae a truck being on them. Same reason I left Prime I don't want to be the rat in the cage or forced to run team till they learn how to plan a truck and make the most of your HOS so that your making money.

I prefer the Rebel Trucking Aspect of running as much as possible. I am only away from my family for one reason to make money. I sure don't want to be sitting in a truck stop looking at trucks all day or night I want to be making money.
