Prime Lease Relief

What? they are unable to speak for themselves? Unable to turn in the keys? unable to file a complaint on there own? They don't know how?

Maybe they are unable to read the lease or to understand it! Maybe thats why they are in so deep!

Considering when you lease the truck and you have no down payment and no credit, yet you get a set of keys to a truck that is less then 3 years old. And realistic revenue if you work (not hang around the T/S's). You want to be a indepenent trucker? If that is what someone wants to do (then at the very minimum) they better get some real experience, come up with some serious front money, and qualify for a lease truck, then pray they can get loads on their own! And HAVE A CLUE ABOUT THE TRUCKING INDUSTRY!!!! If they can't handle a no down, no credit, hand in the keys and walk away without failing, I would be hard press to believe they could handle it solo!

Easy? no facts, no answers, how much easier do you need it? Only thing I've seen is hear say and opinons!

Should have left long before getting in that deep. If they where running that far in the red, they should have had a lot of deductions and losses to write off that would have reduced what they owed, if anything!

Is this related to the deal where a guy trying to get hired at Prime tries to scam someone into splitting the referral bonus like you did? Just wondering. The intent was clear back then just as it is with what you are doing now.

If he had an attorney, he would have been advised not to incriminate himself on an internet message board. Well, unless like you suggest, the attorney is a shlock!

Primes attorney is not, I spoke with him personally on Monday. He's been made aware of the crime and the evidence that continues to present itself.

Ironpony and U2Exit I have a question for the 2 of you. If you 2 are not making any money there how have you 2 been paying your bills and eating for at least the last 4 years? I know both of you have been at Prime since then or close to it. Is Prime perfect? Nope. Can you make money if you are a smart business person? Yes. Maybe that is Midnight Blue's problem?

I am leasing a truck from another company based in Missouri and I make good money doing it. Some people at the same company with the same trucks and tools available there do not. How is it the company's fault for their failure when other people who were provided with the same thing succeed? Maybe the o/p needs to take responsibility for his shortcomings and quit blaming it on Prime.

Prime and the other carriers that lease trucks offer a business opportunity. Whether its a winning proposition is something you have to determine before jumping in the deep end, and you need to know when to get out in order to remain whole. In between you need a business plan, and enough analytical tools to know if you're making money. It really doesn't matter that this business is driving a truck - any fool can do that. Doing it well enough to make a business of it is something different.
