Hi all...Looking for the best flatbed (would consider dry van if the pay is right) company for an experienced driver. Been in the oilfield hotshot business and the company I'm working for is selling out. I'd consider lease purchase as well (i'm aware of "fleece" practices). I'm just looking for the best pay out there, not worried about benefits, spouse has us covered there. Direct deposit, good rates, no qualcomm or spy eyes (I use loose-leaf logs), etc....is more important. I have oversize experience as well, no Twic but can get one, prefer no Canada or Mexico as well. I'm in the Houston, TX area and would like to get by the house every other week or so. Let the recommendations begin!! Thanks!!

Ok, I can deal with the Qualcomm or e-logs, just need to find a new home with good pay.

Should try Builders Transportation out of Memphis. Living in Houston that would be a good company. They pay the best that I've seen. They'll pay for you
to get the TWIC card. Home weekends. I just left them to go local. Made really good money

    Homebrew Thanks this.

Smurf, were you a company driver? What do you know about their lease purchase program?

I was company. Not sure about the lease. Haven't seen one turn in their truck so I guess their making money. One thing I've learned about BTC is that they wont run any cheap freight. Every week on our pay settlements they show the freight charge. Did the math vs miles and they stay around the 3.10 mark. Lot of hauling steel , aluminum, pipe, coils. Have quite a few O/O there

    Homebrew Thanks this.
