truck driver no experience

    this is javier i got my cdl class A in 2006 but i never used because I had to go back my country now Im here and trying to find a truck driver can give me the chance to work with him and to train me at the same time,.,.I know is too much time after i got my cdl but life change sometimes...i tried to apply for many trucks companies but they want i go back to the school to take the whole course,,,and is a lot of money,...I hope to find somebody get along with latin people,,,,,,thank you people!:biggrin_25514:

    Thanks for your kind words.
    As far as best rig out there, I don't think there's such an all encompassing vehicle. Some love the smooth quiet ride of Volvos, others like the extended hoods of the 379 Petes and so on. If I were buying another truck today, and if I had deep pockets, I'd look for the newest truck available that doesn't have the SCR, EGR, DEF stuff on board.
    The key to any business, especially when you're just starting out, is keeping your overhead low and manageable. My 1st truck was an old Swift Century Class with almost a million on the clock. I paid under 10K for the truck with the goal of upgrading within the next year. Worked for me...
