i went to work for navajo all most a year ago, worst mistake i ever made in my life!first off they are one of the lower paying companys, the starting pay for drivers with just only one year is 26cpm,then to top that off there all e-logs with 62 mph trucks!the guys that run the shop at the corp office in denver are stright up prics!when they say use the Qqaulm thats what they mean, cause soon as you call in the first thing they are going to do is yell at ya!lets talk about skly she is ahead of operations in denver when ever you get ready to take off work if your truck is park at your house you are going to get a phone call from her and she is going to try and chew you out because there truck is not parked at the kenworth dealer!ok moveing on to the dispacthers,i never in my life workerd for a bunch of duuuuuuuuuuuuuuum asssssssssses, its like a clown party at navajo its allways hard to get some one on the phone no matter what time of day it is and night dispacth just ### dum they dont do #### but put you on hold and eat sandwhichs!but the reason why i left navajo was beacause they suspended me for 3 days in a truck stop,my dispacther put me under a hot load noing i didnt have the hrs to run call me on my cell phone told me to log out the e log and run papper and that if i got in trouble with corp he would back me up!yea right long story short made it to the yard in jackson tn they took the load from me gave it to a team and made me sit!when i finaly herd from corp they told me why they suspended me and were was my dispacther to back me up no were!!!so as soon as that was over with i put in a two week notic and that was it for me!you are being waren leave navajo express alone they have a bad pay scale and they treat you like #### and they are very unfair when it comes to the trucks they have goveners!

You knowingly falsified your logs & got caught...now blaming dispatcher for it...

What a joke...learn some self accountability...

If a company ever told me to do that...the one thing I would tell them is to put that where the sun don't shine.

first off d.a.m. right im blameing my dispatcher its you seem like you never been under stress and under : pressure before, and if you have been driven a tractor trl for more then a year you would understand that but i can tell you havent, futher more the ones that are a joke are ppl like you,i didnt blast are talk about you why in the hell would you come on my post and do so show some respect sir thank you,on another point you are right at some degree i should have been more responsible as a otr drive and said no but when you only makeing .29 cents a mile and have kids to feed and bills to pay and support a stay at home wife you try and do what you can to bring in more money if you had a famliy you would understand that as well!im not saying that im not use to runing hard over a 3 day weekend but the whole point of it was that my dispacther gave me his word that he would back me up because this wasnt the first time i done something under the table to help him out so he wouldnt get his a.s.s chewed out!

if your gonna break the law and risk going to jail for 29 cpm because you have to pay the bills and take care of kids and a wife, why don't you just sell dope or rob a bank ? Better yet what makes you think you can do those things on a drivers salary ?

That's just insulting and plain wrong. Why would you say such a thing to a stranger? A fellow driver? A new guy? Hmmm?

Shame.... I hope you or yours never want or need for anything. Your karma has spoken....

Guess some can insult, some can not. BDP, you must be anointed here. Good on ya.

Sorry, OP. I got what you were trying to say. Your message will be carried, regardless of the snarky comments you received.

I was with these guys for a month and a half before hanging it up for a bit.
Never was run illegally while there, but there were close calls.
It also depends on who the DM is as well.
This and many other companies are just fine if you want to call the tractor your home.
But after getting the third degree from too many people myself, I decided to just cool off and do other things until I get it back together.

@Taxidriver yea thats kinda mean, but really how is it the trucking company's fault ? I agree these scumbag companies abuse drivers but they allow it , So the only way to stop it starts with us drivers...And I can say no...

If a company has a "IF THIS EQUIPMENT HAS BEEN UNATTENDED FOR OVER 24 HOURS, PLEASE CALL 1-800-WE-SUCK" sticker on their vehicles, that's a sign that a large percentage of their drivers are bailing out and taking their chances with an abandonment just to escape that hellhole.

When I see that sticker, I see yet another company that I'd sooner work at Taco Bell than drive for. :biggrin_25513:

Big dogpile has a point. I've had to tell not just "No", But "F*** NO", several times. I always did it when I was within fuel range of the house though.:biggrin_2559: You have to quite audible tones too. You know, so they understand clearly.
