I fell for the lease from central and every one was right that its geared for you to fail and the companies to profit. I learned from that mistake and found a small company to work for and saved my money and bought a decient used truck paid cash and no payment to make and I can take my truck with me if it does not work out. Any one who goes on to another lease after being in a lease before gets what he deserves, and don't give me the I don't have good credit crap because when I bought mine I didn't have any good credit. I saved here and there until I had enough money to buy a truck outright.

Like another poster stated why would you work for 90 cpm on a fleece deal im one of those o/o that wont get out of bed for less than the 1.80 a mile. Leases are bad just don't do it that's how you can fix the bfi companies lease program if no one leased then the company would have to find another way to screw you out of your pay. But guess that wont happen because their will be plenty of suckers out their to fall for it and some will never learn from it and keep leasing and complaining they are getting screwed when they only screwed themselves.

I use to work for celadon also for over six years unfortunately mr Russell is no longer in charge.it has changed for the worse . I would get away from them ASAP. I to did the lease program but I was able to pay the truck off but I did one of the first ones .since then they have changed the contract at least 12 times and not for the better I know people that have been there for a long time I am talking 10,20 plus years and they r getting rid of all of them so I would move on ur just going to get further and further in a whole. And they have no problem leaving u high and dry fire u and leave u with nothing no money no way home it's the truth it has happend to people I know and so be careful good luck

When I tell u they r firing everyone. Jamie S. got fired, Dave g. fired, all the good dm gone,mr Russell owner or use to be they voted him out,,Jeff Bryan gone

 

Maybe i have no room to talk ,have never had any LP dealings with mega fleet corporate scum balls ,but it seems to me that one of these wrechet organizations approaching me excited about making me a success in this field on their own drawn out plan would probly make my eye browl go up and then take a look at a CONTRACT with all the hooks and turns would probly make me scratch my head and then to have some sleazy recruiter ask me to just sign right here would probly make me want to bust the guy in the chops .....so i guess i won't ever check into this so i wont accidentally get myself in trouble ......idk

 

Thanks for the info. I'm going to Celadon in a couple of weeks. Since I didn't have the money to buy a truck out right, I wanted to save up for a year or 2.
