I have a goose neck trailer that an associate want to use for a hotshot business. The question I have is this. What do I need to make sure I cover my ### and ensure I'm legit. I would like to make some money on the deal but I don't want to be held liable if something goes wrong.

You want to be a "named insured" on an insurance certificate issued by his/the motor carrier's insurance company. That way if he has a wreck with your trailer and you get sued his/their policy has to respond.

Thanks for the info. I've read a bunch on here about becoming an O/O and that's exactly what I intend to do as soon as I'm done with my current gig but I could find anything that addresses this situation. Any further assistance or advise would be greatly appriciated.
