There is always an element of dumb luck, of course, but that was how fleet assignments explained it to me and three other drivers in Lithia Springs.

There have been million mile drivers that get stuck with 500k mile beaters as well. Depends on what they have on hand and when you get into the queue.

Just got my MC last week. The money just flies out of your pockets starting out. All the advice on this forum saying you need about $13000 to start is pretty conservative.

I just renew contract with the national guard and they gave me a petty penny so I think I should be fine on the money area

You can't ever be too ready to go broke in this business. Just keep socking it away, and you'll be glad you had it some day.

I had an '09 Prostar with a TriPak APU and a 1500 watt inverter. The rig had 370,000 and ran like a top. My mileage, per their calculations, was 7.99 my last month there. I never had less than 7.00 my entire time.
