I can't tell you exactly what you will be doing for that particular account. I do intermodal out of kansas city and saint louis. I go up to des moins iowa and cedar falls iowa and fort madison iowa quite a bit. The reason they do a hair test Is because you cannot lie on a hair test. So if you have anything to worry about do not even show up. Evidence of drug use stays in your hair a lot longer than it does in your body. They can pretty much get a sample from you anywhere you have hair. So don't worry about having your haircut messed up.

 

Your actual starting pay will be different depending on your actual verifiable driving history. Just because you have 15 years of driving experience doesn't mean they can verify it. Make sure you can contact your previous employers so that they can verify your driving experience. Any company that will pay you for certain amount of experience will start you at their base pay if they cannot verify your employment properly. Im around 0.33¢. As I said before I only work monday through friday and before taxes i make around 800.00. After I have all my taxs taken out including my 6% 401 k, health insurance, dental, vision, life insurance and legal plan I'm left with 550-600. So as a non married single guy I still bring home over 100 dollars per day after taxes..
