Yes I do. I do not work for Schneider however, I have personal knowledge that they have the best sleep apnea program in the industry. It is part of the insurance program. The only thing is you must follow their requirements or you will not stay around. To give you some kind of idea, it has been reported that the retention rate on their sleep apnea drivers is very high.
Hope this help

Not true guys. I have been using a CPAP in my truck for years as have many drivers. Just have to have an inverter mounted that can power a heated humidifier if your machine has one. The passive(non-heated) humidifiers will allow you to run your CPAP off of 12 volts, but heated ones require at least 1000 watts minimum.

I just Left SNI 4 months ago. Your Cpap Machine must be able to down load Via a Memory card Mine has a credit card size card so on home time I would take it to my Doctors office have them down load and print the report then i would fax it to SNI cpap compliance and never had a problem with them. Some times they asked for it 2 months in a row but usually only asked every 3 to 4 months. SNI wired the 300Watt Inverter in my truck. My Machine has a heater humidifier and worked fine with 300 watts.

When I was driving I had an older remstar CFLEX and it would blow the fuse on anything less than 1000 watt. It fried the chip last summer and now using an AutoM series. Been off the road for 6 years, do not know what this unit will do with a small inverter. Glad to hear yours works with a 300, good to know. I drove rock tours for years, and both companies I worked for never questioned the condition. Yes mine has a card, I was going into respiratory therapy school at one time, why I know a little about these animals. What kind of hauling are you doing? Am looking at getting back on the road in May. Good to visit with you, good luck, skeet.

I left SNI on January 31st. Ironically, it was also the one-year anniversary of my getting the ResMed S9 machine (I had the S8 for over three years). It didn't require the additional inverter either, as it basically had one within the cords provided. Didn't draw much current, and I never had an issue with it.
I'm at Crete now, and they're requiring me to take a sleep study. They'll also probably want me to use their machine, which they'll get a fight about.
SNI paid for everything in my 4+ years on CPAP. I've stated before that I am ever grateful for their sleep apnea program, and I'll restate it here. I agree that they have the top program out there. -
wrong. I have the humidifier. Am using the 300w inverter. With or without the humidifier , the machine is still only pulling 60 watts. 120v x 5amps = 60 watts.
SNI has a policy related to how big your inverter can be. it MUST be plugin type no more than 300w if you are a company driver.skeeterbud Thanks this. -
Thanks for all the replys.

I don't have to worry about Schneider and Sleep apnea anymore. I had my pre-orientation interview with my recruiter wednesday afternoon and it was all good. Then I had a telephone interview with their medical department and I was told that they couldn't hire me because I had cancer last year and it hadn't been 1 year since I had finished treatments. Said it was per DOT medical regulations. They said they would keep my application on file and in 2 months I could finish the med interview and be good to go. Right, I want a job now not 2 months from now. Talked with another company today and they said no problem they would be happy to have me.
I'm kinda relieved really. Schneider recruiter said I'd be put in a 2006 truck and start at .27 pm. Not what I had expected. -
