No, I refuse to list a job I never had.
This is why I got MORE money from that DAC settlement then others. I had disputed the false claim(s), and well, I won.
I do not need to be told how to solve some of my problems, thank you very much. Been in this game far too many years. I think I know a thing or two. -
excuse me for commenting.
But you sure seemed ticked that you got screwed over by a previous company and had never gotten it figured out by that information -
I know more than I let on, don't worry about me..ok..??
-
reminds me of a few other older drivers that seem to can't allow others to offer assistance without getting bent.
Have a nice day. -
When YOU HAVE the years in that I have, then you can say something, that YOU THINK is assistance to me.

and I always have a nice day.

Call the recruiter of the Company and tell them you have recieved a local offer that feels better to you. The recruiter or Company rep's response will tell you a lot about their past experiences with this situation. You are not the first to go through this, nor will you be the last. I am all about integrity. That said the companies run people through and pick the best, why can't you do the same.
cheflee Thanks this. -
bottom line...
talk through it now or fight through it later. Just remember even the victor of the battle took some painful shots! -
Look, if they are willing to hire you now. They will be willing to hire you in 3 months. If a company has already gone thru all of that, you should at least give them a chance. And be honest with them, this xyz company is offering me more home time. What can you do? See what they offer. I will pre warn you though. I have heard of lots of companies putting bad stuff on drivers DAC that have been in a similar situation. Abanding equipment, refusing loads, not arriving for dispatch, ETC. This will have you doing a lot of explaining in the future and could even jeopardize your current offer. Were you honest with the current company that you have already been hired? This could jeopardize that position. I would be honest with all of them, so you don't end up with nothing. Just Sayin.
