A wait time of at least 24 hours unpaid? JCT not charging them detention pay is the reason for that. Working at Marten we did a lot of Tyson loads and we did not wait like that. Loads were ready when they were scheduled because Tyson knew they would be charged if they weren't ready. #### I kind of wish shippers I go to would do that I would make a quick and easy $350 every time. Alan I will give you credit though. JCT should give you some kind of huge bonus for defending their crap the way you do.

To the new guys starting there I don't know why you think you are going to have a different experience than most of the posters the last few months on this thread? I am sorry but I feel for you guys. You guys have to have better options than JCT.

Jct is not perfect and I never claim that they were. Neither are there others out there that are perfect too. Each carrier will have a different set of tools that'll match the drivers needs. For me, I was looking for a carrier that I can make money at and at the same time own a truck in the dieter amount of time with very low risk. Jct is the only company that has their lease purchase program set up like your're buying a car. A five year note and at the end, truck is your's. Also while your're in the lease the only cost your're responsible for is fuel, payment, and insurance. Other outfits you would have to pay the fuel taxes, excise tax, and at the end of the less you have a balloon payment.

Quit three weeks ago and they're still charging me for my truck payments. $3000 in the hole since I quit. Guess I won't be seeing any of my maintance fund back. LOL. Yes Big Kid they must be paying him well, cause there is no other way to make money working for Tyson.

I find that weird that they're still charging you. Supposed to be a "walk away" lease, right?

No not jealous, but thats good money. If your overhead costs are 2000 a week, thats 104,000 a year, you made 96,000 a year. Thats real good money, just don't let Obama find out about it.

My husband and I are new owner operators but have been driving together for 10 years. We're scheduled for orientation on April 1. Does anyone have any thoughts or knowledge as to how they treat o/o's?

No different than a lease driver, they may not be as willing to pay for major repairs if it were to happen. Other than that, same as far as I know, yall still have to get on elogs
