Heading For Little Rock! Maverick

Got a load out of Certainteed on Friday afternoon. The wind was a blowing a steady 15 mph with gusts up to 30. Kept blowing my v boards off and blowing the straps all over before I could get them tightened up.
There was a Boyd driver there struggling with his tarps so I gave him a hand. He waited till I was ready to tarp and helped me get mine pinned down.
Got home about 10pm last night. Gonna squeeze in a 34 and deliver tomorrow before 10 am.

This is a very good p.ost of your experiences. It very informative and let's a new driver know what to expect, my hat is off to you Jim you have done a wonderful job. I also am a flatbedder but not for Maverick and have probably loaded with you somewhere or another. Keep up the good work and I enjoy reading yours and the other drivers post.

That didn't happen to be in Terre Haute did it. I loaded there on Wednesday and had a heck of a time trying to tarp also. The wind was really blowing I also helped a Boyd driver and then he helped me.

 

Im bettin it was Little Rock,I think he was suppose to be getting his own truck there. We load at Certainteed a lot when in Little Rock and it almost always has to be tarped and needs vboards.

 

I am going to orientation on the 25th of this month. Really looking forward to joining the Maverick family.
