For you newbies out there it is possible to complete a lease with CRE. You have to think long term and don't be afraid to ask for help. Most veteran drivers are happy to help with any questions.

I completed a 18 month lease and bought the truck in the end. My truck has been paid off for 6 months now and I hope to soon become a fleet owner with England Logistics.

Did you accomplish this feat by yourself or did you train or hire a second seat?

Unless something has changed (and things always do)...CRE program is not a lease purchase...It is a lease.

Yes, you can purchase the truck but all the money you paid each month is like paying rent..and you have to pay fair market value for the truck.

So, either your claim is BS...or you are the poster child on CRE wall..because they have convinced you to pay for a truck TWICE..and you're happy about it.

Back when I was a phase 2 trainer I would do 45 days with a student then take a week off. When I would comeback from hometime I would run a week as solo and then pickup a student.

When I leased I knew going in that I would not be earning equity. Also when I first started I didn't have the money for a down payment. Now 3.5 years later I have the cash to put a down payment on a used truck. My current truck is paid off and want to get a second one running.

I plan on training again next month and without a truck payment/variable mileage I can safely net $2300 a week.

And yes after my lease I paid fair market value for my current tractor.

There are fleet owners at CRE that net $4000 a week. That's where I want to be in two years. This is not BS, I have seen their settlements from their laptop.
