App submitted! Now for the countdown.......1 week? 2 weeks? A month? I'll let you know as things progress. Hood mirrors, really? This is the first I've heard of this. Well, crap.....guess I better buy a mirror.

Don't buy one, they will give you your choice of several at orientation.

If you don't have one they will provide it to you free at orientation.

They try to give us a new one every time we go to an Orientation center! Only one is required, on the right side.

Having done the same thing I'd STRONGLY suggest going for the LLC to start with!!

Changing mid stream is a pain. I'm sure you are trying to save money where you can but legal zoom is where I got my LLC and their part was pretty painless...... other than the fees.

$99 plus your state fees and taxes...... total of $207 for me.

    jess-juju and jjranch Thank this.

I got my LLC by doing it myself on the state web site for $50. Easy as pie.

You can do that too if you want to mess with it.

Ran me a bit over $800 in Illinois. That was my first really big leap into going O/O. Had to sleep on it for 6 days before I took the plunge, then it was another 6 weeks before they finished processing it. My paperwork was too big to fit in the mailbox, so the mailman just threw it on the doorstep and it all got soaked. Still haven't been home yet to see if any of it is still legible.

OUCH, its a known fact that IL is not business friendly.

    This just proves that.
My state fees were around $100.
