Hi, I am looking for a good owner operator company,I would like to do OTR driving. I have been looking at TRANSAM and Schneider, but i wanted to get yalls opinion on good companies to work for. I am interested in reefer or dry van driving. I would like if they had a lease purchase program, but not required. I have almost 2 years O/O experience. Thanks in advance to all who answer![]()

Go buy a trailer and get your own authority. You can thank me later. Why be a glorified company driver with someone else making the calls? Do it for yourself.

Buchanan Hauling and Rigging out of Fort Wayne, IN. yes they have lease/purchase program ! yes, they make a little money on the lease/purchase trucks but they also have good paying loads. you'll make it back ! oops, I see now you wanted reefer or van. Buchanan is flatbed/RGN/heavy haul

buchanan is a bad company and you would be sorry you went there i was in a orentation with 13 others with in 30 days all but one had quit

Why ? I worked there for a year and got in a 2012 KW after 6 months and made 56,000 in my first year on track to make more after that. Only reason I'm not there is some opportunities developed for me to buy my own truck. Buchanan is a great company in my book. The only problem might be they kind of require you to be a little bit of a self-starter, they don't coddle guys like Schneider or JB Hunt or something, you have to think on your feet and be ready to haul anything and everything.jerryy123 Thanks this.
