Are there any flatbed companies that allow drivers to select their loads besides Landstar and CRST Malone, and are willing to train someone new to flats?

What oil field hot shot company did you work for ???

Haven't checked into it yet. Sounds very lucrative, but I'd imagine experience is necessary, plus location....

Sorry I was asking the OP.

I'd rather not say for now. Well now I have a decision to make. Got approved to be a company driver at Lonestar, got approved by ATS today to do a L/P and be in the heavy haul division, or I can stay at the oilfield hotshot company that I'm at. All are relatively the same $. So do I stay with the known or go with the unknown? Hmmmmm.....

Congrats man. Im sure youll make the right choice.
Edit - hold on ATS invited you to do a lease?Last edited: Mar 7, 2012

If you're a O/O stay where you are at. Oil field hot shot business is great at the moment and should be for a few years to come KNOCK ON WOOD.

Stay away from ATS's BS lease deal....
