That would be an improvement. :yes2557: At least WM takes care of their drivers.

Well, I guess I never believe if I didn't see for myself. The Sheepster (Craig) no-longer works for JB Hunt. He has found greener pastures somewhere else, outside of the trucking world.

Good for him. That's a good sign, everybody. Anybody can change......maybe companies can too.

Farewell, Craig. I hope you stop by and visit....people need to get angry every once and awhile.:biggrin_2559:

Mr. Dude, I guess your the only recruiter I know who works for JB now. :biggrin_25511:

Now that you mention it, I haven't seen Craig in the office in a while...

Dude, I've read some of your posts about what commonly happens to recruiters at JobHunt, and I gotta say that most sound like idiots to me.
These guys have to be lacking brain cells if they engage in activities they KNOW will get them canned, especially if a 70K-a-year job is something they'd look down on and wouldn't accept.

What happens to these guys when they get led out the door?

Do they job hop around from company to company?

Do they go from a great job as a recruiter to working at a 7-11 selling slurpees, candy bars, and newspapers for 7 bucks an hour?

Are they pretty smart people who are engaging in risky behavior because in reality they hate their jobs and are trying to grab as much as they can while the grabbing is good?

Set me straight here, Dude. What is up with the typical JobHunt recruiter that gets booted out?

Please, by no means think that I am making fun of truck drivers. My father and brother are both truck drivers and I have the utmost respect for the good drivers out there.

But I have to laugh at everything that’s been said here. On one hand you have some people claiming they won’t be happy until JB changes its ways. But as soon as the one person (Dude) on this board that is the “underdog” trying to help, states that he is trying to find another job…he gets praises for leaving a worthless company etc etc. I don’t understand. You want someone in the company that does well and makes a positive impact, but you urge them to find another job?

Ok, here’s another one. And forgive me if I don’t get it completely correct…I’m not going searching through the thread to find exact quotes, but it’s been stated that JB is the “devil” etc etc, and that it is the goal of some to see JB destroyed. And that some don’t understand why drivers still get recruited when there are soooo many people speaking out against JB. I’m not going to get into a big argument about whether it is better or isn’t but….If you go see a movie that you like/love, you usually end up telling just a couple of people that it was good. And you’ll even tell others that it is good if it comes up in a conversation. But if you see a movie that you absolutely hate for whatever reason, you’re gonna go out and tell as many people as you know, not to watch such a horrible piece of crap. Does anyone see a relation here?

I find it funny that people go to JobHunt even though tens of thousands of drivers before them have fled that company because of pretty much the same reasons.

It makes as much sense as somebody stubbornly going into a burning theater as ten thousand others are making a mad dash out.

But some people still go and see that crappy movie...even though, every person they've talked to said it was bad. The curiosity factor kicks in and wonders if it could honestly be that bad. I don't care what you say, whether you like or dislike JB, that company will not go down because a band of drivers group together. Yes, you may and probably will steer away some headaches, but JB will always be there, and there will always be drivers driving for them.

From hearing from folks, that used to work there, I know I want to steer clear from it.

Please be advised that: UnbiasedOpinion has a JB Hunt IP address. I do not know if he/she is another recruiter or a driver, but I have CONFIRMED them as JB Hunt. Thanks. Hard to be "unbiased" if they have a JB Hunt IP posting in a JB thread though...please keep this in mind.

Unbiased just keeps on shoving his foot in his mouth. No surprise that that guy is about as biased as one can be here. Sounds like he's had a lot of practice at lying.

Biased, some will go see that crappy movie, sure. But most of us won't.

Some are stupid enough to run into that burning theater, but most of us aren't.

There's no way I'd claim that JobHunt will be around forever. In fact, my money is on them being bought out by one of the railroads in about five years. Permanently high diesel is here to stay, and railroads are much more efficient at moving freight when the juice is expensive. I have a crystal ball that tells me all this by the name of Warren Buffet.
