General information. The Love's in Ormond Beach, FL (I-95 exit 273) will not be available for overnight parking from March 3 through March 13, because of Bike Week. This Love's WILL still be available for fuel-and-go only for the next ten days. Be safe, everyone!

And only as a last resort,
it will be jammed !!!!!!!AfterShock Thanks this. -
Heh. It's always jammed anyway with people trying to fuel. Just thought I'd give the heads-up about it so we can plan accordingly.
123456 and AfterShock Thank this. -
Appreciate the heads up !!!

Do not even mess with that exit during bike week. I made the mistake a couple of years back and it was crazy.
AfterShock Thanks this. -
Yeah, I live about an hour and a half south of there. And as long as I've lived there, it has ALWAYS been a cluster**** for Bike Week and even Spring Break. If possible, one should avoid I-95 all together.AfterShock Thanks this.

I park there when I stop in Ormond to visit my mother. That place is always packed and vitually impossible to fuel unless in the middle of the night. Too bad it wasn't so landlocked and could expand. You also got to watch out where you park there. There's been two occassions where I pulled into there and have seen fenders torn up on trucks parked on the corner. You also gotta watch out for those Wyotech students on there motorcycles trying to zip by you when you are making that right turn into the place. That place does tend to have the cheaper fuel prices on I95 in FL and one of the only major truck stops to offer same price.
AfterShock Thanks this. -
Take it off your list. Completely unavailable most of the time. They should sell the location and go down the road....
corneileous Thanks this. -
I hear you there. But Love's has a partnership with Bruce Rossmeyer Harley-Davidson. But if it were my company, and I see how much money they're making off of that one fuel stop, I'd put another location further south, say, Cocoa at exit 201 or 202 and give that small, rinky-dink Pilot a run for its money. And if you really think about it, there is really no decent truck stop between Ormond Beach and the T/A in Vero Beach. Sure, you have that Space Shuttle Fuel in Titusville (exit 215), but it's $5/night to park there, and it is "patrolled." Then the Pilot I mentioned. And the two rest areas in Brevard County.Spacecoast Thanks this.
