I can say they alright with me. If u work and be smart bout the loads u run, keep ur truck loaded, watch exp. Basically be a business man you will like them. I love the company myself. Those who are not good business minded won't and don't make it. Ur treated like an o/o.
It has been almost 26 since I was with Colonial. Back in the mid 80s they started a dry van division and I leased on with them. I was there for over 3 years and my wife passed away and Colonial sent a company rep. to the funeral almost 200 miles away. I don't know another trucking would even consider this. After my wife's death, I took a local job with a major ltl carrier where I retired. I do not know what route that Colonial has taken over the years, but I do know that they were "OK" in my book years ago.
