According to their website passport/card TWIC and hazmat are required. Have they changed that? Didn't read all posts just OP's 1st.

Think there was 12 in my class and at the end we had 8. They said a quarter to half would not make it by the end. I was in Columbia SC in 08 for mine. Was a good bunch of instructors there I seen a couple in Des Moines after the training center was built. They were doing odd jobs at the terminal, may been their off day but seemed a waste. People that good and they're working as flunkies. Wish I could remember his name the backing instructor in SC. That man was the f#cking sh@t! The last day we were there he hit the yard messing around showing us what can be done short of impossible. He done things that in 3 yrs I still can't. Things didn't go well with me and TMC but I will say at least what I went through is the strictest, most thorough intense training you will EVER do! And safety is their thing. Mess up and you won't do it again I promise.

Its not required but I have twice and hazmat. I have no interest in going to canada

i allready have TWIC, PassPort and Hazmat. and Tankers that way i dont have to wory with them later. will that help me since i allready have them or does it not matter?

It really doesntatter a whole lot. Its good you have them though because the hazmat loads are nice because of the extra pay. Twic I have because I'm doing the john Deere fleet and we go to the ports a good bit

The TMC website says that you have to start process for HazMat, TWIC, and passport within a month of getting your truck.
How much oversize work does TMC do? I haven't been able to find any info on that. -

For the linehaul you will get one here and there. Either wide plate steel or long rebar usually.
