I went to a 240 hr course, 2 months of training. $800 total cost. Local community college, the current cost for this school is about the same, even cheaper if you apply our state lottery educational grant, that everyone qualifies for as a state resident.
shortwjason Thanks this. -
I start next week. A three week training with what is promised as a very good shot at a good job before I'm finished. I paid $4995 up front. If financed the same school costs $6495!

I decided to join four weeks training. Anyone of you tell about the best one in Houston.

I did 160 hours and paid $3500. The school i went to has a 98% pass rate, so I think the price was worth it.

My husband starts at tdi in milton florida on Monday, we paid $4995 for a 3 week course if we had financed we would have ended up paying $9000 by the end of the loan. I think roadmaster & tdi are quite similar, we chose tdi because its 25 miles from our house verses 5 hrs away for the closest roadmaster school.

I went with AIT in Las Vegas, NV. Wrote them a check for $4.240.00 for a 4 week course.

Can anyone out there recommend a school or one of the Colleges in the Fort Worth area that does training. I want the best training that I can get. I do not take the job of driving a 80,000 pound truck lightly. I have come to the conculsion that I would be better off paying for my own schooling. Any advice is welcome. Dian
