I went through Sill in 90. I tried for warrant helicopter pilot and was accepted but couldn't pass the last eye exam after being accepted. They waiver that stuff now but I was too old by the time they started accepting waivers for warrant.

A lot of people have asked (and rightfully so) how did such a dipschitt get to do all that........ I tell 'em, really, it's pretty simple; take a couple of tests and pass a physical, and you're in. The hard part is getting out and getting your wings......
Like the old question goes, would you rather be good or lucky? Me? I'm really, really lucky.....and pretty!!

Been out with my trainer for 26 days, came home and showered and SLEEP! Good time with the wife and kids the next day, but woke up at 4:30 AM the next day because I knew that I didnt set my alarm or plan anything for that day and in a, dream or half asleep mode (not sure), asked my wife "where is the qualcomm", because I didnt know if I could drive, she calmly said "there is no qualcomm here". Went back to sleep and had a good laugh this morning:biggrin_255:.

I think I have officially lost my mind.:biggrin_25524:
