Looking to see if anyone has any info on PGT Trucking out of Monaca, PA, they are a flat bed company. I'm looking to see any pro's or con's about them, from anyone that has any experience. They are a possible choice of mine coming out of school and I'm trying to make a good choice on which company I go to.

I think truck driving schools should spend some time teaching students hot to use the "search" function on this website.

why not help rather than criticize.............search box is top right, punch in pgt and click search, you'll have all the info you can stand.......
Coreyfield Thanks this. -
If you want to become a steel hauler, and be with a company that been around longer than you've alive (50+ yrs) i believe, then PGT is there for you. A lot of steel haulers have a boat load of pride in being a steel hauler, its all in what you make of it. Some drivers can start at a company like PGT and feel that they are not what there looking for in a company for what ever reason, but others can just blend right in.
They do haul a lot of coils from what i can tell, because most of the PGT trucks i see are hauling coils, which is ok because i dont mind coils myself.
Plan to go to work for them myself some time after June of this year, because a buddy of mine turned me on to them a few months ago. Yeah with 20+ yrs of exper, and having been with 20+ companies in my time, planning to go with PGT should say something about them. Good LuckCoreyfield Thanks this.
